Howdy internet people!

CCP Loxy here to tell you all about EVE TV’s plans to bring you Fanfest 2014. As expected our cameras will be in every room bringing you all the excitement of Fanfest as close to “being there” as cameras and an internet can make it. Along with the presentations you’ll have a day packed with the delights of CCP Guard, CCP Mimic, CCP Gargant and CCP Rise as your hosts, bringing you even more insights and interviews with a wide selection of devs and players.

From the morning of Thursday to the very early morning of Sunday night we’ll be broadcasting it all, over 30+ hours of content also available to re-watch on Twitch throughout the event (HD Subscribers only) and available on YouTube channel within a few days.

HD Stream Package

As with past years we’re offering an exciting upgrade for those who really want to immerse themselves in the action—a great value for watching parties where “POS Fuel”, “Mordu’s Private Stock” and “The Damsel in Distress” are on the bar menu!

The primary benefit will be of course all of Fanfest 2014 in HD, a big step up in quality from the free stream and the only way you’ll want to watch the new Fanfest 2014 Trailer on Saturday during the CCP Presents Keynote! You’ll also have access to our Twitch archive containing the day’s recordings for you to re-watch at your leisure, everyone else will have to wait until the following week for items to appear on YouTube.

The HD Stream will also include exclusive goodies!

As well as enjoying Fanfest in HD you’ll also be getting some Fanfest Stuff™ in EVE Online.

• You’ll be able to pick one of four ship skins for a line of industrial ships, the Iteron Inner Zone Shipping Edition, the Badger Tayra Wiyrkomi Edition, the Mammoth Nefantar Editon and the Bestower Tas-Murkon Edition. Worth it for the names alone, these ships skins will transform your simple industrial ship into one of the rarest ships in New Eden.
• You will receive a two in game Quafe Fanfest 2014 shirts (male and female fits) for your avatar. Another exclusive that will not be made available again!
• You’ll also enjoy more civilized company on Twitch chat as we enable subscriber only chat mode that will cut out a lot of spam and requests for presenters to drink something or eat something, as well as enabling some custom icons only available to HD package buyers.
• You’ll also be interested in our video archive. As mentioned above HD subscribers will be able to re-watch the action on Twitch, while everyone else will need to wait for things to be uploaded to YouTube.

All of this is available for just 1 PLEX (I should mention its worth checking what these in game items are being listed on the market for already!). Also please note that to receive all the goodies you need to purchase the package through EVE Account Management (just follow the links in this blog), purchasing the package direct from Twitch will not get you the in game items!
